What You Can Earn Points On

2.6 The member earns 5% in points based on all bookings of stays at Go Hotels.

2.7 When payment is made with points, points are only earned on the invoiced amount. This means that points are earned on all cash purchases and purchases made with a credit card.

2.8 Points are earned solely on the purchase of overnight stays. Points are not earned on the purchase of beverages, snacks, etc.

2.9 Earned points can be deducted from the total bill upon check-in at the hotel.

2.10 It is possible to earn points for all reservations under the member's name, as long as these are paid together by the member.

2.11 Points are only earned on stays booked directly with Go Hotels via our website, by email, or by phone.

2.13 Points can only be earned on publicly available rate types, such as Flexible, Stay&Save, and Stay&Pay. Points are not earned on corporate agreements and other special agreements negotiated individually.

2.14 It is not possible to earn points on private parties, even if an overnight stay is included. Private parties include birthdays, weddings, etc., where the event organizer personally settles the arrangement.

2.15 Points cannot be earned on parties held and/or paid for by companies, e.g., Christmas parties.

2.16 Points can only be earned by one Go Friends membership per order.

2.17 Go Friends points earned by a member cannot be sold, transferred, or otherwise converted into cash.

2.18 Members can access their account information online here.

2.19 Points are not earned on meeting and conference stays. However, individual participants can earn points on personal expenses related to the meeting and conference stay and other company events. Personal expenses must be charged to the member's own account to earn points.

2.20 Points are not earned on stays purchased through a third party. If your booking is made via Booking.com, Hotels.com, Expedia, Sembo, DTF, Risskov Travel, etc., you will not receive points for this. Points cannot be used for stays booked through third-party channels.

4.1 The member accepts and consents to Go Hotels’ registration and processing of personal data related to the member’s participation in Go Friends in accordance with applicable law and these terms and conditions. The personal data recorded will only be processed and stored for the purpose of providing information about Go Friends offers and administering the membership and earned points. Any other purpose requires additional and explicit consent from the member.

4.2 Go Hotels is responsible for protecting personal data. Members of Go Friends have the right to obtain information about which data is registered about them at Go Hotels by submitting a written and personally signed request to Go Hotels. Members also have the right to request that Go Hotels correct or delete any data concerning the member that is incorrect or incomplete. Furthermore, the member can terminate their Go Friends membership at any time by emailing gofriends@go-hotel.com.

4.3 Customer data in Go Friends is automatically deleted after 3 years of inactivity from the customer’s side, as we then consider the current customer inactive regarding Go Hotels’ services. This assessment is based on the typical frequency of using hotel services in Denmark. It is therefore no longer relevant to retain this data. We delete this data to avoid unnecessarily retaining non-current customer data. After the 3-year period, we will ask the customer if they wish to remain active in our system.

4.4 For more information, see Go Hotels' privacy policy.

5. Go Card

5.1 The Go Card scheme, where stamp cards are handed out, is being replaced by the Go Friends program, which allows you to earn bonus points on purchases of stays at a Go Hotel. However, your Go Card will not become invalid and can be converted into bonus points with Go Friends.

5.2 If you have a Go Card, a paper loyalty card from Go Hotels, where 9 stamps qualify for a free night's stay, you can transfer your stamps to your membership. 1 stamp = 100 bonus points.

5.3 Stamps from a Go Card that have been converted to bonus points can be used to pay for stays but do not count towards seniority regarding membership levels. Therefore, you will not move up in membership level based on these converted bonus points, even though they are valid for payment of stays.

5.4 If you have 9 stamps on your Go Card and are thus entitled to a free night's stay, this will not affect you. In this case, you will receive your free night's stay upon submitting your Go Card.

5.5 Conversion of stamps to bonus points requires you to join Go Friends and accept the membership terms. Please note that it may take up to 3 days for your bonus balance to be updated.
